Janet Lavina Wheeler

Janet Lavina Dias Wheeler passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her home in Pasadena, Maryland surrounded by her family. She was 72.
She was born on August 1, 1940 in Dilltown, PA, daughter of the late Alan Brian Dias and Hannah Bell Richardson Dias.
She graduated from Moose Hart High School in 1958. She was married on Christmas Eve, 1985 to Marvin Wheeler and together made their home in Pasadena. She was a self employed house cleaner for many years. Janet loved her family dearly. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Marvin Wheeler of Pasadena, MD, eleven children, Dana Sue Shade and her husband David of Pasadena, MD, Donna Wheeler Arbogast and her husband, Rodney of Federalsburg, Erin Lee Schaeffer and her husband, Kurt of Smithsburg, MD, Betty Jane Richards of Laurel, DE, Clara Lynn Saunders of Federalsburg, Allen Mansfield of Delmar, DE, David John “Toby” Mansfield and his wife, Mickey of Federalsburg, Joanie Marie Miller of Hurlock, Katherine Patricia “Pati” Stadden and her husband Rick of Churchill, George Joseph “Buck” Mansfield and his wife, Sally of Federalsburg, and Julia Katherine Burns and her husband, David of Federalsburg, twenty-one grandchildren, Chris, Brandon, Ashley, Katie, Ricky II, Bradley, Zachary, Lindsay, Hannah, Allen II, Kourtney, Janet, Kelly, Shannon, Aaron, Laura, Christopher, Michael, Jennifer, Julia and David, three sisters; Joan Cichon and her husband Eugene of Cosa Grande, AZ, Sara Tupis of Lackawanna, NY, Katherine M. Stewart of Homer City, PA, two brothers, Chaney Woodring of Seward, PA and Allen Murr Dias of Baltimore; and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Mansfield, a grandson, David John Mansfield, II, a sister, Betty J. Nearhoof and a brother, Harry Woodring.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. and again on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 1-5 and 7-9 at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg.
