Marian Blades Taylor Eaton of Preston, known fondly as “Sis” passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Caroline Hospice in Denton. She was 86. She was born on March 4, 1929 in Easton the daughter of the late George Nelson Blades and Mary Bradley Blades. She had worked as a seamstress for the former Yale Sportswear. Sis also enjoyed doing private home care and also working at Easton Memorial. She enjoyed crocheting, doing ceramics, and reading. She always put her children and family before herself and always gave a flowing amount of love to everyone. She is survived by two children, Bobby K. Taylor and his wife, Carol of Milford, Linda Taylor of Preston, three grandchildren, Melissa Ostant (Ron), Natalie Slye (Andrew), Bobby N. Taylor (Janna), 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony “Tony” Taylor, a sister, and three brothers. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 12 noon at the Framptom Funeral in Federalsburg with Pastor Bill Thomas officiating. A visitation with the family will be on Monday from 11 a.m. – noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Framptom Funeral Home, 216 North Main Street, Federalsburg, MD 21632 to help defray with funeral costs.
