Theodore T. Trice of Federalsburg, died Jan. 21, 2013 at Easton Memorial Hospital. He was 81.
Mr. Trice was born in Federalsburg on June 25, 1931, the son of the late Walter and Dora Bell Trice. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joan H. Trice; his three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey D. Trice and Carol Trice of Easton, Andrew W. Trice and Sharon B. Soffer of Arlington, VA, and T. Mark Trice and Maggie Trice of Easton; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth T. Asbill and Margaret T. Wright, and a brother, Robert Trice.
Mr. Trice was educated at Goldey-Beacom Commerical College and the University of Maryland, College Park, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 1955. He then served in the U.S. Army as a specialist at the Army Audit Agency for two years. Subsequently he worked as an accountant at several local companies before opening his own real estate agency in Federalsburg, Trice Realty, while also providing accounting and tax preparation services. He also served as Treasurer of the Federalsburg Rotary Club and of Union United Methodist Church, where he was a member his entire life. He enjoyed boating crabbing, swimming, dining out, and spending time with his family.
A funeral service will be held on Sat. Jan. 26, 2013 at 2:00p.m.at the Framptom Funeral Home P.A. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
