Don Alanda Magee of Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Care Pavilion in Philadelphia, PA. He was 78. He was born on June 20, 1937 in Federalsburg, Maryland, son of the late Robert Leonard Magee and Ethel Mae Turner Magee. He worked for the Park Way House Complex and performed maintenance. He is survived by a son, Roy Cohen of Camden, NJ, and two daughters, Denise Cohen of Charlottesville, NC and Cynthia Williams of Harrisburg, PA; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Iris Hooper of Federalsburg and Constance Hawkins of Philadelphia, PA, and three brothers, Eugene “Jimmy” Magee of Easton, Kendall Magee of Federalsburg and Wayne Magee of Bridgeton, NJ. He was preceded in death by six siblings: Robert Magee, Jr., Eddie Magee, Perium Magee, Goldrick Magee, Maxine Magee and Etta Tyler. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 on Saturday. Interment will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery.
