Anita H. Moore, 90, formerly of Galestown, MD passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Heritage Healthcare at Crestwood in Valdosta, GA. She was born on March 12, 1925 in New Port News, VA and was a daughter of the late Leslie Hudson and Clara Ione Darniella. On September 25, 1942, she married the late Ralph M. Moore, Sr., who preceded her in death on August 14, 2011. Mrs. Moore attended schools in Dorchester County. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially working in her flower beds. Anita was a homemaker most of her life, where she took pride in caring for her family. She is survived by her three children, Ralph M. Moore, Jr., of Knoxville, TN, Charles L. “Jake” Moore, of Galestown, Joye L. Massey, of Lake Park, GA, a daughter-in-law, Janet Moore, of Seaford, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three siblings, Gladys Hull, of Salisbury, MD, Stanley Hudson, of LaPlata, MD, and John Hudson, of Saute Nacoche, GA and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by a son, Robert F. Moore, a daughter, Dolores A. Hitchens, and a great grandson, Blake M. Warrington. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford, DE. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
