Eloise E. White, 93, a resident of Preston, MD for 74 years passed away October 28, 2015 at Caroline Hospice House in Denton, MD. Eloise was born on January 1, 1922 in Henson, MD. Mrs. White was a homemaker and a member of the Choptank Homemakers Club, AARP Chapter #915, and the Women’s Society. She served as president of the 20th Century Club for four years and was active in the local Garden Club. She enjoyed baking and cooking, gardening, sewing and spending time with friends and family. She was a member of the Preston United Methodist Church. Mrs. White graduated from Federalsburg High School and retired from Airpax in 1980. She was the widow of Byron E. White, Sr., to whom she was married for 59 years. She was the daughter of the late Frederick Hulliger and Helen Noble Hulliger. She is survived by four children, Deanna Fijak of Little Compton, RI, Byron White, Jr., of Lake Jackson, TX, Phyllis Dominick of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Lela Nichols of Preston, MD, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings; Paul Hulliger of Hillsboro, MD, Jeanette Gaines of Canton, GA, and Delores Glessner of Federalsburg, MD. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings; Frederick Hulliger, Jr., Noble Hulliger, Claudell Hulliger Steward Hulliger, and Doris Barwick. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 2:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home with the Reverend Denzil T. Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00.
