Dwayne L. Meredith, Sr. of Federalsburg passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at UMSMC at Easton. He was 51. He was born on October 8, 1963 in Easton, son of Wendell Lee Meredith of Federalsburg and the late Alma Dulin Meredith. Dwayne graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in 1981. He worked as a machine operator for Solo Cup Company for almost twenty-three years of faithful service. He loved anything to do with cars and all kinds of sports. His favorite sports teams were the Redskins and the Orioles. He enjoyed going out to eat and doing yardwork at his home. His first love was his family. Besides his father, Dwayne is survived by his son, D.L. Meredith of Seaford, and his fiancée and companion of nearly twenty years, Ruth Mitchell Smith of Federalsburg. Funeral services will be held of Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor James Michaels officiating. A visitation with the family will be on Thursday evening from 7-9 pm. and on Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.
