Erma W. Haley of Selbyville, DE passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Gables in Denton, Maryland. She was 88. She was born on February 2, 1926 in Denton, Maryland the daughter of the late Walter John Willey and Evelyn Anna Towers Willey. She graduated from Federalsburg High school with the class of 1943. She later graduated from Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, DE. She married the late James J. Haley who preceded her in death on October 15, 1998. She worked as an accountant for Gilpin Van Trump & Montgomery, retiring in 1984 after 38 years of service. She enjoyed needlework and making crafts. She is survived by a nephew, James Richard Willey and his wife Debra L. Willey, two great nephews, J.W. Willey (Dawn), and Jason Willey (Brianne), a great-great niece, Summer Willey, a great-great nephew, Aiden Willey all of Preston, Maryland, and a cousin, Etta Mae Redden (Marvin) of Denton. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Burton Willey and a sister-in-law, Verna Willey. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:00p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Bill Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
