James Henry “Jamie” Wright formally of Federalsburg passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Chesapeake Care Givers in Trappe, Maryland. He was 86. He was born on May 22, 1928 in Starr, Maryland the son of the late Daniel Webster Wright and Mary Legg Wright. He was raised in the Bay Hundred area of Talbot County. Later he moved to Federalsburg. He enjoyed farming and working in his garden. He attended Park Lane Church of God. He was a kind, loving man who never met a stranger. He is survived by four sisters, Elizabeth “Libby” Ewing of Federalsburg, MD, Dorothy Richardson of Preston, MD, Sarah Ellen Coulbourne of Harrington, DE, and Martha Ann Hadaway of Laurel, DE, one sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Wright of Preston, MD, three special nephews, Milton Ewing and his wife, Sharon of Federalsburg, James Edward Ewing and his wife, Marsha of Seaford, DE and Joseph William Ewing of Federalsburg, MD. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Wright and Edward Wright. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
