Charles Joseph “Joedy” Bramble, Jr. passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at his home in Federalsburg. He was He was born on March 12, 1958 in Federalsburg, the son of the late Charles Joseph Bramble, Sr. and Jacqueline Truster Reiley of Medford, NJ. Joedy attended grade school in New Jersey, and later moved to Federalsburg and attended Colonel Richardson High School. He served in the United States Marines and was honorably discharged. After returning home, he worked for M&M Refrigeration and Holt and Company in Federalsburg. An outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step father, Bernhard Sperl of Medford, NJ, two sisters: Irene Peterson from Washington State, and Misty L. Reiley of New Jersey, two brothers, Vincent W. Bramble of New Jersey and Wess L. Reiley of Florida and many nieces and nephews in the tri-state area and his beloved dog Roxy. A celebration of Joedy’s life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Federalsburg VFW Post #5246 pavilion.
