Lawrence Martin Durham of Federalsburg, MD passed away on April 1, 2014 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born August 19, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Gloria Huebel Durham of Federalsburg, and the late Robert Stewart Durham. He was 59. He graduated from Col. Richardson High School Class of 1972. Lawrence was a sales representative for Simplex-Grinnell for 40 years. He was a hard worker that loved people and was always there to help whenever needed. He loved music and played bass guitar. He will be remembered for his great smile, love of life and his devotion to his children and grandchildren. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Glinda Jewell Durham, three children, Tina Ledford, Brent Durham and Joseph Durham, four grandchildren, Alana Chester, Gaven Lane, Kai Lane and Reece Durham, a sister, Dianna Whitby and a nephew, Robert Whitby. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2014 at Union United Methodist Church, Federalsburg, MD where friends may visit from 1:00-3:00 p.m prior to the service. The Rev. Jim Michaels will officiate. Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery, Federalsburg, MD.
